Whether or not you are a landlord looking to let your property for the first time, we can take you through the process of preparing your property for let and ensuring you are fully compliant with the legislation that governs the letting of private residential property in Scotland, including Energy Performance Certificates. We can instruct an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for you if you do not already have one.

We will deal with the tenants and ensure references and deposits are dealt with before the property is made available to them. We will provide approved, legally binding, short and long term tenancy agreements. We also deal with the rent and provide you with detailed invoices and regular updates on a monthly basis. We will inspect each property regularly, in line with the tenancy agreement.

We employ experienced and fully qualified plumbers/heating engineers, electricians, joiners, roofers and other approved trades people who can deal with all aspects of property maintenance.

If you are a tenant Abbey Forth will ensure the appropriate gas and electric safety certificates are provided and that any repairs required before or during your tenancy are dealt with by our approved trades people at the earliest possible time.
